Thousands of metro Vancouverites united for a wet weekend in North Vancouver for the second annual Slide the City event.
This year, the event expanded to two days and featured a 1,000-feet-long water slip-and-slide going down Lonsdale Avenue from Victoria Park.
The weekend attraction was easily the best way to beat the scorching weather.
