SFU Students To Spend 24 Hours Sleeping On The Streets For Charity

Simon Fraser University students will gather together on the North side of the Vancouver Art Gallery at 9:00am on March 12th equipped with just a pillow and blanket. They will remain there, homeless, for 24 hours to raise awareness and money for youth homelessness within the community. During the time spent there, they will have to live by the following guidelines:
– No food or drinks will be allowed unless they are donated to the participants
– No electronics: mobile phones, cameras, music players…etc

Living life in someone else’a shoes will be a valuable experience and a generous once as all proceeds will be donated to the Covenant House of Vancouver.

Everyone is free to drop by to lend their support. For those of you who would like to actually participate, just email your name, e-mail, and phone number to [email protected]:

Donations will be accepted from now until March 31st – online at www.nohome.ca.
