SFU LipDub began in the Summer of 2011 when pre-production for the project began with the 100 volunteers who joined into 6 teams Engineering, Finance, Human Resources, Production, Marketing/Public Relations, and Producers.
All students involved in this project came from various fields of studies ranging from Science to History. On the main day of filming on March 14, 2012 we had over 500 student, staff, and faculty participants attend the filming, alongside the 100 student volunteers who made things run smoothly.
The LipDub is about connecting the SFU community and engaging them from all three campuses of Burnaby, Surrey, and Vancouver.
