Samsung #GALAXYLIFE Pop-up Installation at Waterfront

When it comes to the newest smartphones, there’s one burning question on every consumer’s mind: is it good for Pokémon Go? That’s obviously the first thing we asked at the #GALAXYLIFE pop-up installation outside Waterfront Station in Vancouver.

The demo room is filled with goodies from Samsung Canada including a 3D avatar body scanner, wearable technology, virtual reality headsets and the latest handheld devices. The 60 x 60 installation runs through July 20th 2016 with interactive workshops and displays for consumers to test the latest Samsung Gear.

In previewing the #GALAXYLIFE experience we tried out all the latest devices like the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge which feature the first smartphone cameras with a 12MP Dual Pixel Sensor for crisp and clear photos in the dark.

The usual design and hardware upgraded specs from Samsung are present, but it’s the camera performance that really shines brighter, literally with better low light performance.

The ‘revolutionary focus’ demos got a lot of oos and aws because of the seamless autofocus speed.

Another big ticket item that is sure to draw in gamers, tech lovers and everyday folk is the Samsung Gear VR powered by oculus.
