One set of doors are set to close, but new ones will open in fall 2019.
It was announced on Wednesday night that Pitt Meadow’s iconic Roosters Country Cabaret would be “closing its doors forever”.
“Make sure you and your crew come out for bull riding, $4 Fridays and Big Bacardi Saturdays ONE LAST TIME!” reads a Facebook post.
However, locals should be excited for what’s coming next.
Joseph Richard Group, a Surrey-based restaurant chain, has purchased the iconic establishment.
“We’re proud to announce that after many months and work by many, we have officially acquired the property and business of Rooster’s Country Cabaret in Pitt Meadows” reads an Instagram post.
The post goes on to highlight the popularity of Roosters Country Cabaret in the community throughout the years.
“Either way, our goal is to always celebrate and continue on the elements that made this location successful for many years in the past, while enhancing it and bringing new elements for guests to appreciate”.
Roosters will officially close in two weeks and “renovations will begin shortly thereafter”.
Joseph Richard hopes to have the new establishment open by summer/fall 2019.
