Sorry, one doesn’t high-five with commoners.
That’s exactly what a headline for The Daily Mail read this past weekend after Prince George, son of Royal Couple William and Kate, had an awkward encounter with our Prime Minister.
The toddler, while holding onto his father’s hand, shook his head abruptly when Justin Trudeau tried to get a “low-five”.

Prince George stared blankly at Trudeau, who then tried again for a regular five, and even a handshake.
All of which the tiny Prince declined – probably a first round of rejection for our typically charming Prime Minister.
Trudeau keeps his head up and smiles delicately through the whole ordeal, which is quite cute to watch, if you ask us.

The Royal family is visiting the country as part of their Canadian Tour. Trudeau welcomed them when they first touched down in Victoria, BC this past Saturday.
Prince William and Kate, and the two tots, will be in Canada until October 1st.
