Another Successful PlayStation E3 Experience At Metropolis

It’s the week of the Electronic Entertainment Expo aka E3 2016 which features press conferences and new game announcements from all the console makers.

The PlayStation E3 Experience returned this year with a live screening of the PlayStation conference (with a live orchestra) at select cinemas around USA, Canada and Latin America on Monday.

The only one of the 85 locations in BC was SilverCity Metropolis Cinemas in Burnaby.

The conference featured a couple live demos of new titles like God of War, Horizon: Zero Dawn and Days Gone. The reveal of PlayStation VR included titles like Batman and Final Fantasy. A dark horse that stirred a lot of nostalgia was the announcement of Crash Bandicoot re-mastered titles and a cameo in the upcoming Skylanders Imaginators.

Death Stranding by Kojima Productions got a big reaction as the exclusive PS4 project marks Kojima’s first project since leaving Konami. It also happens to star Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead) who also worked with Kojima on a Silent Hill project that was abandoned by Konami.

Other titles fans got a glimpse of included:

  • Farpoint
  • Detroit: Become Human
  • The Last Guardian
