The fifth annual Diner En Blanc returned to Vancouver on August 18 for a night of white dining.
6,000 locals reportedly attended the dinner at Concord Pacific Place, the mystery location that happened to be a very well kept secret up until 6:00pm.
For those not familiar with the event, it’s essentially a pop-up picnic which calls for friends and family to simultaneously meet at a last minute location to share an evening of food, wine, and conversation. All guests dress completely in white and bring along picnic baskets, white folding tables, chairs and dinnerware.
The exclusivity of the event has led to Vancouverites launching Ce Soir Noir, an alternative event in which everyone is invited to attend.
