If you’re like most Canadians, you like your beer cold and local. Well, good news: Molson Coors Canada will be opening a new brewery in Chilliwack!
The company announced today that they have chosen a 14-hectare site located along Kerr Avenue.
Since the Burrard Street brewery in Vancouver shut its doors after 50 years, Molson Coors Canada has been searching for the perfect spot for a new brewing location. Chilliwack met all of the requirements, including the freshest drinking water in the lower mainland!
CEO Stuart Glendinning says their brewers are thrilled with the water quality in Chilliwack – a crucial component for crisp ciders and thirst-quenching beer.
