If you were looking for an excuse to indulge in some carbs—here it is. National Pasta Day is October 17th and a few of Vancouver’s best Italian restaurants are cooking up some special deals to celebrate the occasion.
Kitchen Table is featuring the Spaghetti Aglio e Olio (with garlic & oil) for half-price (just $9) at four amazing Vancouver eateries: Ask For Luigi, Pourhouse, Di Beppe and North Vancouver’s newly-opened Farina a Legna.
This deal is only available on International Pasta Day, so put on your stretchy pants and head to one of those four locations.
And in case you needed yet another reason to eat pasta—it’s all for a good cause. Proceeds from each dish sold will be donated to Dan’s Legacy.
The local non-profit organization provides therapeutic counselling and life-skills programs to youth, who are battling mental-health and addiction issues resulting from childhood trauma.
