The City of Toronto, and many baseball fans across the nation are still in disbelief, yet full of joy from the unbelievable seventh inning in Game 5 of the AL Division Series which saw Blue Jay’s Jose Bautista hit a game-clinching home-run.
Moments before the big hit and while stepping up the plate, a young boy dressed in Blue Jays gear and sporting a full Bautista-style beard stood up and prepared to swing with his idol.
As Bautisa took his historic swing, so did Oscar Wood in perfect sync. The moment was caught on video by the young boys father who referred to his son as “Mini Bautista”
The video, along with the nickname has gone viral with sports fans around the world pouring in positive reactions.
