The snow days of Vancouver are not over yet, but the weather forecast predicts it’s starting to ease up.

Vancouver faced its first snow day last week, which has since dumped buckets of snow onto most of Metro Vancouver. That has caused road closures, bus delays and general chaos in Vancouver.

“The significant winter storm that has targeted B.C.’s South Coast with heavy snow and powerful winds this week will gradually loosen its grip,” stated the Weather Network.

Whatever snow we do get this weekend should mostly come on Friday, with warmer temperatures turning precipitation into rain the rest of the weekend.

Temperatures should stick around 5°C most of the weekend, approximately 20 mm of rain expected, which will hopefully help clear out the snow some more.

Stay frosty, Vancouver!
