Metro Vancouver Transit Police are asking the public for any help they may have in identifying the suspect in a brutal Skytrain assault.
On April 6th, a surveillance video captures a man as he throws coffee at a woman’s head, and then proceeds to violently shove her to the ground. The incident occurred at approximately 10:45 am, when a woman rushed to board a SkyTrain at New Westminster SkyTrain Station before the doors closed.
She believes that, in her haste, she may have inadvertently bumped into the suspect while trying to reach the train. As a result, the man may have thought her bump was intentional.
Afterward, the pair exchanged words before he threw the coffee. When he pushed her, she fell backwards, striking her head on the platform.
