Heads up, commuters and to-be road travellers: the T100 Triathlon is starting this weekend. As expected, many roads will be closed for the racers, and traffic will be affected by this.

T100 TRIATHLON

This is the first time Vancouver will be seeing the T100 Triathlon World Tour in the city. The race includes a couple of different event categories, such as the 100KM and the Sprint. But no matter which event racers decide to take part in, from June 13 to June 15, 2025, the city will be filled with them hitting the bikes, races, and the water.

As the T100 Triathlon website puts it, “You’ll tap into your strength and freedom, in a race that captures the spirit of Canada– wild, bold and beautifully free.” With these events taking place for three whole days, Friday to Sunday, there will be plenty of strength and freedom racing around the city.

For commuters, drivers, or anyone who isn’t a racer and will be in Vancouver, it will be important to know exactly what roads will be closed during the races. Plan accordingly and around the closures, with time and traffic in mind.
