Homegrown Vancouver rock duo Japandroids have beat out Nickelback, Guns N’ Roses, Volbeat, Static in the Stars and DJ MEG in the Vancouver Canucks NU2 Project contest to determine the team’s new entrance music.

Japandroids’ “The House That Heaven Built” will be played for two home games, replacing U2′s “Where The Streets Have No Name.”
