We’re just over a couple of weeks out till Levitation Vancouver makes its return for 2016, so surely it’s ripe time to get excited?
The second Levitation Vancouver takes place June 16 to 18 – with shows stretching from Stanley Park’s Malkin Bowl to various venues around the city – bringing with it a wide-ranging, genre diverse line-up with an emphasis on the experimental and/or psychedelic.
This year’s festival will include performances from Flying Lotus, Holy Fuck, Of Montreal, Thundercat, Hinds, Tycho, White Lung, Thee Oh Sees, Com Truise, The Growlers, Shabazz Palaces, Allah-Las, Dead Meadow, Cherry Glazerr, Fidlar and Suuns. And joined by local acts Louise Burns, The Orange Kyte, Dead Ghosts, Dada Plan and more.
If your going, thinking of going or just can’t make up your mind, our resident muso, BarryGruff (and 1/2 of our ‘Millions Like Us Podcast’) has you covered. He has carefully pieced together a playlist to provide a flavour of what treats await you, if you’re lucky enough to be attending.
You can see the full breakdown of where and when the artists will be playing, over here.
