Summer is in full-swing and so is the Richmond Night Market, one of Metro Vancouver’s most popular destinations of the season.
Receiving both national and international attention, the night market attracts thousands of new visitors each year. Come this weekend, they’ll have yet another first-time visitor: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
According to the Richmond Night Market, Trudeau will visit the outdoor attraction for the first time on Saturday, August 4th.

Trudeau will reportedly sample some of the delicious food offerings at the International Food Fair and Summer Seafood Festival. For all we know, he might also pick-up a new cell phone case too.
The Prime Minister is expected to remain in town for the remainder of BC long weekend, and is widely anticipated to take part in the annual Pride Parade on Sunday.
