There’s no stopping a hungry bear, especially in Vancouver.
West Vancouver police took to social media this weekend to remind residents not to leave food in their vehicles.

Exhibit 1 of the reminder was a photo taken earlier in the day which shows smashed windows on a Lexus vehicle along with seats torn apart and airbags ripped open.
The situation unraveled around 10:30 am on Sunday when the vehicle owner called the police and informed them someone had broken into their car near Taylor Way and the Trans Canada Highway.
Upon initial inspection, officers informed the driver that the ‘someone’ was rather a bear who is one of many known to be active in the British Properties area.

According to police, the bear caused approximately $10,000 worth of damage.
We wonder if it’s the same bear who crashed a North Vancouver family’s home to use their hot tub.
