A massive fried chicken eatery made popular in Taiwan and seen at many night markets will soon be getting not one but two Metro Vancouver locations.
Hot Star is known for their large and juicy fried chicken cutlets.
They’ve been at it since 1992, so they know a thing or two about making some good fried chicken.
2019 marks the company’s first venture into BC, with eateries planned for Richmond and downtown Vancouver.
What’s cool about Hot Star, is you can completely customize your cutlet and they’ve got a whole lot of options to offer. You can get it extra spicy, stuffed with cheese or with a crispier coating. Get your chicken with a variety of sides, including fries, fried plum sweet potato wedges or fried King Oyster mushrooms.
Needless to say, this might just be your new favourite spot to indulge in some tasty eats.
They also have some epic combos, which include their signature spring rolls, Taiwanese dim sum and much more.
The Richmond location will officially open doors on Thursday, May 2 at 11am, situated at 1623 – 4791 Mcclelland Road. The Vancouver location is expected open in the near future on 566 Granville Street.
