Drinks on the East side of downtown Vancouver will pack a little more ‘buzz’ as the Gastown Bartenders prepare to get naked!
In good support of charity, the hottest male Gastown bartenders will strip down for a spicy new 2014 calendar that will hit streets this December with all proceeds going straight towards prostate and breast cancer organizations.
The Gastown Bartenders Charity Calendar was originally inspired by the Vancouver Fireman’s Calendar, and although these models don’t pack muscle like the firemen, they promise it will offer a fun and creative twist for all the ladies (and some men..)
What will the fun and creative twists be? We have yet to find out. However, we do know there has been 12 Gastown bartenders selected for the shoot, and each month, and model will have a different theme. Some themes will be associated with the month, for example: a sexy Santa for December while others will tease you in their own ways.
The man behind the camera and sexy project will be will Robyn Jenkins, who has also worked with the Vancouver Fireman for their annual calendar. Jenkins is excited about the new project and when compared to his last assignment, he stated: “Firemen may work out a lot. But a lot of barmen are part-time actors or models and once they get in front of the camera then they can really work it well. Firemen have to be very athletic and work out – it’s part of their job – but bartenders are really good at drinking so they usually have a very nice one-pack with the six-pack behind the bar. We have had to remind them to tighten up the tummy a little bit.”
Each calendar will be sold for $19.99 in hopes of raising $20,000 for charity.
