Canadian figure skater Elizabeth Putnam has done it all as a national figure skater: former Canadian World Champion, 3 time Bronze Medalist and Olympic Alternate.
As a pair and singles skater, Putnam has skated on ice all over the world. Now she can boast about skating on top of the world at 2500’ in the mountains of beautiful British Columbia seen below.
The 4K aerial video was a last minute shoot made possible by a mashup of locals: filmmaker & helicopter pilot Bradley Friesen, drone footage from House Hippo Media and music from Delaney Kai. The stunning dance routine was skated atop a frozen Widgeon Lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks near Coquitlam.
