The walking dead is taking over the streets of Vancouver, and they’re calling on you to join in.

Thousands of zombies will take part in an East Vancouver parade next week, and it’s described as an event ‘for the people by the people”. Locals can come together and dig deep to release their inner zombie to some beats.

The annual ‘Parade of Lost Souls’ is set to return on October 30, 2021.

The Parade of Lost Souls is produced by the Public Dreams Society and has been running for over 25 years. Under the direction of The Dusty Flowerpot Cabaret, you can expect it to be entertaining for all the zombies in Vancouver.

Guests are encouraged to come adorned in your best zombie attire and ready to parade the city. The event starts at Britannia Community Centre. The procession will happen to the sound of The Carnival Band each hour, between 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Children are encouraged to participate in a parade of Little Souls which starts at 7:00 p.m.

While the parade is free and open to all, the event is run through donations. It is encouraged to provide at least a $5 donation to keep it going.
