Love the West End? Come celebrate its 12th anniversary at the West End Car Free Day this spring.
Taking place on Saturday, June 15th, this event brings together artists, volunteers, organizations, and the community.

Car Free Day History
Since 2008, the registered non-profit Car Free Vancouver Society has put on events in the West End, Main Street, and Kitsilano.
Vancouver’s West End is comprised of beautiful parks and beaches. The local community welcomes people of all ages, incomes, ethnicities and sexual orientations. Likewise, this vibrant neighbourhood strives to build a better, more livable city for everyone who calls it home.
Translink will be re-routing transit buses during the festival so that everyone can fully enjoy the car-free festivities. Here’s a list of the bus re-routes.

The event will take place on Denman Street from Robson to Davie.
