Volvo Car Canada is hosting a Midsummer Celebration at Vancouver’s Bentall Centre from July 5th to 7th. This event promises a multi-sensory experience inspired by the traditional Swedish holiday, rooted in local flora, sustainability, and community.

What to Expect at the Volvo Car Canada Midsummer Celebration
The Midsummer Celebration will offer a variety of family-friendly activities and workshops, including:
- Twiggage & Bloom: Build your own bouquet using locally sourced flowers while learning about sustainable farming.
- Radical Roots: Make eco-friendly seed balls to plant native flora, enhancing your knowledge of plant care.
- The Flower Petaler: Craft your own floral crown with help from talented floral designers.
- Midsummer Family Portraits: Capture your floral-inspired moments with friends and family at the on-site portrait station.
Test Drive Initiative
Attendees can also experience a fleet of Volvo Car Canada electrified vehicles with a test drive. For every test drive, Volvo Car Canada will plant a tree in association with One Tree Planted Canada, a non-profit dedicated to reforestation and biodiversity. Kids can also join the fun with mini-Volvos in the Midsummer Kids Safety Zone.
Community Give-Back
Volvo Car Canada is committed to sustainability and community support. Partnering with Bloomier, a zero-waste floral studio in West Vancouver, all event florals will be repurposed, eliminating foam and plastic materials.
Volvo Car Canada is also collaborating with Alvéole, an urban beekeeping organization, to support their program at the Bentall Centre, fostering a more bee-friendly city.
