If you missed H.R. MacMillan Space Centre’s previous virtual astronomy night, then you’re in luck—Cosmic Nights is returning this week.
This time, we’re exploring Gas Giants, the largest planets in our solar system. Our host Michael Unger will be joined by the Space Centre’s astronomer Rachel Wang, along with Dr. Shawn Brooks from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California.
Dr. Brooks is currently working on the Juno mission, and the upcoming Europa Clipper mission.
Grab your favourite beverage and tune in from the comfort of your own home!
We will be live streaming on Zoom and YouTube for this event on Wednesday, August 19th. Tickets to register for the Zoom live stream are $10 and capacity is limited. Zoom registrants will have access to the chat and can ask questions during the presentations. Tickets for the YouTube live stream are by donation.
