Steel & Oak is a great place to enjoy a pint on any given day, but on October 23 it gets even better. On that day, you’ll be able to enjoy the brewery’s ever-excellent beer with a local music chaser.
Some of the 604’s best indie record labels will be descending on the brewery for ‘Analog: Pop Up Vinyl Shop’, an event promising fantastic food, beer and (of course) music.
Sip on a Royal City Ale as you browse through bins of records from New West’s very own Bully’s Studios, as well as Northern Electric, Scrape Records, Highlife Records, Music Madhouse Records and La Ti Da Records.
As if that wasn’t enough, there will also be performances by local artists. Nod your head along to Sarah Wheeler, 2-Bit Horse, Jimmy Roy and Dj-ing by Dale Davies.
‘Analog: Pop Up Vinyl Shop’ is organised by Steel & Oak in partnership with the Arts Council of New Westminster, taking place on October 23 from 12pm to 4pm. No tickets necessary for this one, folks. Just turn up on the day.
While you’re there take the chance to try their recently released, seasonal Roggen Weizen. It’s a malty beer just right for the dismal Fall weather – way better than a Pumpkin Spice Latte!
