Soak in over one million lights at one of Vancouver’s most beloved Christmas events this holiday season.
The Festival of Lights will take over the VanDusen Botanical Garden from Saturday, December 1st – Sunday, January 6th, 2019.
Guests can stroll through the garden and be mesmerized by lights dancing to classic, disco and soul music. Dancing Lights occur every 20 minutes at Livingstone Lake.

Want a photo with Santa? Families, kids and couples alike can take photos with the big fella in the Visitor Centre halls until December 24th. This is now a free experience included with entry.
Also coming back is the Fireside Lounge. Gather around the fire pits and warm up with a specialty holiday beverage in this new outdoor licensed area.
A number of food and beverage vendors will be on site to keep you warm well into the night. These include Cin City Donuts, Frosty’s Patio & Bar, Shaughnessy Restaurant, Santa’s Kitchen, Truffles Café and Truffles Pop-up Café.
