The anticipated VanDusen Christmas Festival of Lights is back for 2019, so you’ll want to start getting your tickets soon.
Starting November 30, this annual event features about 1 million lights strewn across its gardens, to get you in the spirit for the holidays.
VanDusen Festival of Lights is jam-packed with activities. That includes the Dancing Lights show on Livingstone Lake to a visit with the Man in Red at Santa’s Lodge.
There is plenty more for families, including Recycled Rhythms. Here, kids can make music with recycled instruments. The Candle Grotto is another popular spot for kids to make a wish and hope Santa hears them.
Additionally, there are plenty of food vendors, so you can warm up with a hot chocolate as you wander through the maze of lights. Or you can sit inside one of VanDusen’s lounges for a glass of wine and watch it all through the windows.
The event attracts about 110,000 visitors per year, so you may want to take advantage of buying tickets ahead of time, online.
Ticket prices for this festival vary from $11.50 for kids and go up to $24 per adult, during prime dates.
