With the weather finally getting sunnier, it’s time for all the outdoor markets to begin. There are plenty of night markets and other outside events that have started, but Vancouver’s largest farmers market will be the one you want to visit.
Luckily, it will be open until mid Fall, so you’ve got plenty of time to go.
TROUT LAKE MARKET
Trout Lake Market is known as Vancouver’s largest farmers market. They’ve been selling local food to B.C.’s residents for over 25 years. You can be sure that with just one visit, your grocery basket will be full of delicious B.C. fruits, vegetables, and other delectable and homemade goodies.

The Market regularly hosts over 60 vendors. And on the busier days, you can expect upwards of a couple thousand shoppers.
Hosted at John Hendry Park, the venue is also lovely for walks and sunbathers. The small beach is a fantastic place for the kids to have a Summer splash, and the park also has an off-leash area for dogs to roam free.
VENDORS
The vendors are always changing daily, so there’s something new anytime you visit the Trout Lake Market. We’ve listed some of the vendors you could see, but the Trout Lake Market website also lists the specific vendors you can see on any given day. Whether you’re looking for sweets or artisanal goods, produce or meat, you’ll be sure to find it there.
