Textile Art Workshop with Coast Salish Design Collective 2020

Travel & Outdoors

Enjoy an afternoon of Coast Salish textile art, music and history through the House of Design.

With the Ay Lelum family as your instructors, they’ll teach you elements of Traditional Coast Salish art practice.

Through the workshop, you’ll paint your own linen table runner or wall hanging, which you can take home with you after.

Those working alongside artist Ay Lelum will experience the family’s artistic collective and practice.

As a second-generation Coast Salish Design House, sisters Aunalee and Sophia are inspired, taught, and mentored by their parents William Good and Sandra Moorhouse-Good.

Good is a master carver and artist, while Moorhouse-Good is a painter. The two will guide you in your painting of a Coast Salish Salmon Run created by William Good.
