The 12th annual Surrey Fusion Festival is returning from Saturday, July 20th – Sunday, July 21st, 2019.
Named the world’s “Best Festival” at the 2019 Special Events Magazine Gala Awards held in San Diego, California, this free and family-friendly festival is an opportunity to discover some of the world’s most vibrant cultures.
The two-day festival will once again take over Holland Park for what will once again be British Columbia’s largest multicultural event. Attendees will be able to experience cuisine from around the world from over 50 community-hosted cultural pavilions, as well as music and entertainment across seven stages.
This year’s festival kicks off at 11:00 a.m. and runs all day through 10:00 p.m. Here’s what to expect:
A total of seven stages will takeover festival grounds this year showcasing international cuisine, art, and live entertainment. For the latter, this year boosts an exciting lineup headlined by 2Baba, Mankirat Aulakh, K’NANN and Busty and the Bass.
*please note Sharry Mann was scheduled to perform at the event but is no longer a part of the lineup due to a personal matter. Mankirat Aulakh will take his place.

Surrey Fusion Festival Activities
Your young ones and their friends can have the time of their lives inside Kids World, Storyville, Toddler Town, Sports Zone, and Family Fun Zone. The Family Fun Zone includes various inflatables and even a zip-line!
In addition, there will be a plethora of fun games and cool giveaways provided by the festival’s numerous exhibitors, including the Vancouver Aquarium, Tim Hortons, SFU, Central City, and the Nintendo Summer Tour among many others.
The 2019 Surrey Fusion Festival will also have an Indigenous Village that’s laid out in a circular design, which represents important principles in Indigenous belief systems.
This village will have an Indigenous Artist Trade Show, Traditional West Coast Cedar Backdrops, and the Bannock Queen serving a variety of tacos.
A big component of the festival is the pavilions that showcase practices, food and cultures from around the world. Enter to win $75 worth of free food here. These year’s participating pavilions are:

Surrey Fusion Festival will take place at Holland Park (13428 Old Yale Road) in Surrey, BC.
The park is located directly across from King George Station, and a short walk from Surrey Central Station. Furthermore, the closest bus loop to the site is located at Surrey Central Exchange, one block away.
There will be a limited amount of parking spots available near Holland Park. If you plan to drive, attendees can park at Surrey City Hall (13450 104 Ave). Parking underground at City Hall is $1.50 per hour or $4 weekend flat rate for a maximum of 12 hours.
