A local favourite is coming back this summer! The 74th annual Steveston Salmon Festival returns to the streets of Richmond on Monday, July 1st, 2019.
To locals, the event is known as the “salmon bake”.

For 2019, the Salmon Festival is enlarging its space, extending from Britannia Shipyards to the Gulf of Georgia Cannery.
The day kicks off with a pancake breakfast at 6:30 a.m.. Locals and everyone else in the community are encouraged to take part in all the activities and enjoy some amazing BBQ salmon.
Steveston’s Salmon Festival is a part of a full-day of celebrations celebrating everything Canada. Not to mention, over 80,000 people expected to come out to this community event.
Activities, music, and entertainment will create an environment like none other this July 1st in Richmond.
The festival will feature multiple stages with over 50 performances, a community parade, a dazzling fireworks finale, and many great activity zones to keep you entertained!
The Salmon Barbecue is $16 per plate. Cash, credit, and debit will be accepted.
