This is one train ride you have to be a part of.Each year, the Stanley Park Halloween Ghost Train takes riders of all ages through a mystical journey in the forest. This year, the Stanley Park Halloween Ghost Train’s theme is “Alice in Nightmareland”.
The event will run from Thursday, October 11th – Wednesday, October 31st, 2018.
“Alice falls down the rabbit hole again. Only this time, she is older and things aren’t what they seem. But then, what could she expect, wandering through a grand graveyard at night on Halloween?”
You’re tasked with Alice and the Not-So-White Rabbit through an “endless series of stone doors”, which will have you come face-to-face with a “gothic nightmare world of tombs and tombstones, crypts, and catacombs!”
In addition to the train, there will be numerous plaza activities happening daily. These include:
- Crafts and movies
- Exhibits by the Stanley Park Ecology Society
- Pumpkin patch
- Food and beverage vendors
Moreover, a matinee train ride will also be available during the daytime for families, school groups, and children. It runs Friday – Sunday from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Likewise, you can ride all you want between 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m…if you dare!
