North Vancouver is taking their Christmas celebrations to a whole new level this year.
The Shipyards Christmas Festival takes place on Saturday, December 1st, 2018.
Organizers are transforming The Shipyards into a winter wonderland filled with music and twinkling lights. This family-friendly event has lots of free activities to take advantage of.
Enjoy ornament/lantern making, story time, gingerbread decorating, balloon creations and face painting.
New this year is the Winter Artisan Market in the Pipe Shop from 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and pony rides for kids.
On stage entertainment includes:
- Magician Joel Eddington
- Windsor Senior Chamber Choir
- Seymour Dance School
Mayor Buchanan will officially light the City’s Christmas tree at 4:00 p.m. and Mrs. Claus will stop by for a visit and photos.
All activities are free, but donations are welcome, with proceeds going to local charities.
