Are you prepared to get the heebie jeebies and see some creepy critters this Halloween?
The River District Neighbourhood Centre is hosting two free “critter shows” this month. Some of the animals you’ll get to see includes tarantulas, snakes, a hairless rat and an albino hedgehog.
In the spirit of Halloween, these 45-minute events offer children and adults an opportunity to learn about these animals.
There will also be a pumpkin painting session, where you can paint the creepiest or most intricate painting to win a sweet prize.
Anyone over the age of 3 years old is welcome, but registration is required in advance.
Be there Saturday, October 26 from 1:30-4:30 pm at the River District Neighbourhood Centre.
