While many measures of the pandemic are ongoing, you can still get out to smell the flowers this weekend, at the Richmond Sunflower Festival.

Richmond is hosting the flower fest this year, with more than 20 varieties of sunflowers and dahlias, over eight acres of land.

Starting Saturday, you can wander the fields and discover all the hidden photo-op moments.

There will also be a lemonade stand and local food vendors, offering meals as well as ice cream.

However, you must purchase tickets ahead of time. Tickets are $12.64 for adults or $8.40 with the early bird price. Tickets are available during designated time slots, after 10 am.

There are several spots around Metro Vancouver that are hosting flower festivals, including one near Cultus Lake.
