Richmond residents and visitors of all ages are invited to participate in the City Centre Community Association’s fourth annual Harvest Full Moon Festival on Saturday, September 22nd, 2018.
The event will be led by local artist, Marina Szijart.
The Harvest Full Moon is a time of year to give thanks, bring awareness, exchange stories and reminisce about past experiences.

The full moon in autumn is the most beautiful moon of the year. It is called the ‘Harvest Full Moon’ as it coincides with the farmers and fishers harvesting time around the world and thoughout history.
The celebration will kick off in the Community Living Room at City Centre Community Centre. From 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., there will be:
- art stations
- live music
- moon cakes and tea
Following this is a lantern procession at Minoru Park at 7:30 p.m. There will be live soft music starting at 6:50 p.m. to engage the community into participating the procession.
