Richmond Halloween Fireworks 2017


It’s going to be lit in Richmond…literally.

The city is going to host four Halloween firework events on Tuesday, October 31st, 2017.

Taking place at multiple outdoor venues across the city, you can expect magnificent firework displays to light up the skies across Richmond.


All four shows are free and will also feature trick-or-treating, activities, music, performances, and much more.

Here’s where you can catch the Halloween fireworks this year, by neighbourhood:


Time: Fireworks start at 8:15 p.m.
Location: McLean Neighbourhood Park (22500 McLean Avenue)
Admission: Free!
Details: This family-friendly 15-minute fireworks display will feature trick or treats and activities taking place before the display starts.  Bring the whole family for some Halloween fun!

South Arm

Time: Fireworks start at 8:15 p.m.
Location: South Arm Community Centre (8880 Williams Road)
Admission: Free!
Details: Enjoy a 15-minute family-style fireworks celebration.

West Richmond

Time: Fireworks start at 8:15 p.m.
Location: West Richmond Community Centre (9180 No. 1 Road)
Admission: Free!
Details: Bring the family out and join other community members to enjoy this 15 minute firework show.

Minoru Park

Time: 6:30 p.m. – 8:45 p.m.
Location: Minoru Park (7191 Granville Avenue)
Admission: Free!
Details: This event will have live music, dance demonstrations, a magician, roving entertainers, children’s activities, an inflatable corn maze, trick-or-treating, fire juggling and a spectacular fireworks finale to send everyone home happy.
