Climbing walls at MEC stores are re-opening across the country and you’re invited to the festivities.
Join MEC and Arc’teryx in-stores to celebrate Pride, get in some climbing and meet community groups. Beginner climbers are totally welcome; we’ll have staff from climbing gyms to show you the ropes. Plus, there’ll be knowledge sessions, giveaways, chats with athletes and local LGBTQ2S+ climbing groups to connect with. We’d love to see you there.

Get ready, Vancouver – we can’t wait for Pride Month! Our store’s bouldering wall is basically brand new, since we opened it in March 2020 (yes, wild timing). All that means it’s very much time for a climbing party and we can’t wait.
Join us festivities throughout the store, including music, games, snow cones, refreshments and lots more:
- Bouldering wall is open for climbing by donation
- Intro to bouldering clinics from local climbing gym staff
- Bouldering comp – get your fingers ready
- Giveaways and lots of prizes
- Connect with local climbing and advocacy groups
All proceeds support local LGBTQ2S+ community programs.
