What to Expect

The mountain will be open with events for all ages from November 25 to January 3. But with so much to do, it’s hard to know where to start.

Communications Manager, Melissa Taylor describes this year’s event as “A magical story awaits guests of all ages as they are transported to a winter wonderland, complete with Santa and his reindeer, brilliant light installations and Christmas movies in the Theatre in the Sky.”

The Light Walk

First off, if you’re on the mountain, you have to enjoy the majestic views. There will be a plethora of beautiful light installations for those magical moments, and a truly unique experience in a snowy winter wonderland.

Take a stroll around the 8,000-square foot Mountaintop Skating Pond. Blue Grouse Lake will be hundred of lights sparkling in an installation that includes a light tunnel and lanterns. It’s the perfect place to, “marvel at the beauty as snow crunches under foot,” says the website.

Santa’s Workshop & Reindeer

This year, guests can actually interact with the big guy, and other fan favourites will be back. You’ll get to meet up with Ole Saint Nick, and say hi to his furry companions and look out for a bright red nose among them.

Next door to Santa’s Workshop is the Reindeer Habitat. Dancer and Vixen will accompany Santa this year in the North Pole village. Santa’s workshop is also open with the opportunity to take photos with him.

For an extra special treat, you can have Breakfast with Santa on November 27 & 28, December 4, 5, 11, 12 & daily from Dec 18 – 24. Tickets are available online, with family passes as well.

Sleigh Rides

Sledding and skating are also back by popular demand.
