If you love live music, family-fun, and free entertainment, you are in luck.
The North Vancouver Shipyards Festival will be going ahead this September with 10 hours of straight music and fun. The popular event brought together over 15,000 people when it last occurred in 2019, and organizers are excited to bring it back this year.
Regardless of whether Step 4 of the Restart Plan occurs, the event will move forward as planned with additional safety measures in place and with a limited capacity.
The Lower Lonsdale Business Improvement Association is hosting the 2nd annual Shipyards Festival at The Shipyards District in North Vancouver. The event is confirmed to take place on Saturday, September, 25 2021.

There will be music playing on four different stages with free live events throughout the day. The line-up is vast and will include intimate and emerging artists, as well as various entertainers. Expect to also see Celtic performances celebrating World Maritime Day.
For kids, there will be a free Seaspan Family Zone that will have balloon artists, face painting and crafts.
For the adults, there will also be a beer garden to enjoy.
