It’s the most wonderful time of the year, Noel Surrey! Millions of lights are about to shimmer at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds this winter from November 28 to December 28, bringing the holiday spirit straight to you and your family.
And with Bright Nights joining the event, Noel Surrey is sure to be packed with festive fun for everyone while also raising money to support the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund.

A Dazzling Display
If you love a light display, then you’re certainly going to be spoiled at Noel Surrey. With millions of beautiful, shimmering lights, this is one event that shines directly onto the joy of the holiday season. Get those photo-ops, make memories to last a lifetime, and enjoy the festive vibes from the glimmer and glow.
You’ll be able to see larger-than-life displays, LED forests, and illuminated see-saws all around Noel Surrey. And don’t forget to check out the 300-ft of light tunnels that you can walk through, glittering in the night.

Bringing Back Bright Nights
One of the most exciting additions to Noel Surrey has to be its addition of Bright Nights. Previously held at Stanley Park, Bright Nights is an annual holiday tradition that began back in the mid 1980s with the support of Surrey fire fighters. Now, the event is returning to Surrey so that donations can still be raised for burn survivors.
With the magic of Bright Nights, visitors can take a stroll around the pond at Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre. This light display is both accessible and mesmerizing, and is produced with thousands of volunteer hours by over 800 firefighters. It’s the single largest annual fundraiser for the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund.
A portion of proceeds from Noel Surrey will be going to benefit the Burn Fund, so that survivors and their families get the support that they need this holiday season.

A Festive Village
A visit to Noel Surrey isn’t complete until you’ve hit up the Noel Village and its over 30,000 sq. ft. of indoor space at the massive Cloverdale Agriplex. There, you can find a variety of holiday activities to do, like warming up with some delicious treats, shopping at the Christmas Market, and saying hello to some of Christmas’ most iconic characters.
The kids will love meeting jolly ol’ Santa, and they’ll even have a chance to visit the Green & Grumpy One. And the magic will be brought to life when the little ones have the chance to have a special moment with Noel Surrey’s princesses, the Snow Sisters.
If you’re feeling peckish, Noel Surrey has plenty of food and drink options to sate your appetite. From sweet treats to gourmet comfort foods, you can find all that holiday cheer and more from the Winter Spice Kitchen, local food trucks, and cozy dining huts with fire pits. The festival is also fully licensed, meaning that they’ll be serving up seasonal alcoholic beverages, too! Head over to the Jack Frost Bar, or the new Mulled Wine Cabin!
