You can buy a tree for only $10 and help New West become more green.
New Westminster is hosting a large tree sale in efforts to reach their goal of 27% canopy coverage across the whole city by 2030.
This bi-annual tree sale offers the residents of New West to purchase a tree for only $10 and plant it at their residence. It is a win-win situation as it allows the residents and the city to work together. In order to reach their goals, the city would need 3,300 trees planted on private land, and another 8,500 on public properties.
