Mount Pleasant’s biggest street festival is coming back for its 11th year.
Main Street Car Free Day is returning on Sunday, June 17th, 2018. The party kicks off at 12:00 p.m. on Main Street between Broadway and 30th.
The biggest of Vancouver’s Car Free Day festivals spanning 21 blocks, Main Street has 15 stages and mini festivals along the entire street.
This is a fun, family-friendly event with kid-zones, skateboarders, funky artisan shops and popular food vendors. You can really taste the flavour of Main Street with extended patios from many restaurants.
Main Street is a vibrant area featuring food, arts, music, and nightlife. It is known for its’ small independent shops, craft breweries, and youthful residents.
Over 150,000 came out in 2016 and this year is supposed to be even bigger!
