It’s officially spooky season and one Abbotsford farm is upping the ante with a circus themed corn maze. But it’s not for the faint of heart.
Described as the ‘scariest corn maze in Canada’, Maan Farms is back at it again. This year, along with their haunted maze they will also have 2 additional terrifying experiences to keep you on your toes.
So if you’re up for a night of terrifyingly delights full of screams and laughter, this is an event that you won’t want to miss out on this Halloween season.
Maan Farm Haunted Corn Maze and Forest Experiences
Bloodied Carny Corn Maze
This is a 20 minute nightmare where visitors will have to make their way out of the maze unscathed. The theme this year is circus culture, where a twisted carnival of the macabre comes to life. The maze will be filled with haunted clowns, mysterious gypsies, and other evil carnies lurking in the shadows.
“Within blood-stained corn field rows, fears and nightmares will take shape in ways never experienced,” said Amir Maan, operations manager for Maan Farms.
Twisted Pegan Forest
This is an all-new attraction coming to Maan Farms this year. The 25 minute experience takes guests on a walk through a 10 acre forest that is crawling with spiders, mythical creatures and a ghostly colony clawing up from the depths of hell.”
Slaughtered by the fearful, the once proud pagan inhabitants of the land has come back to seek their enemies and take revenge on anyone who dares to venture upon their soil.
This will be the second year of this new attraction. The 15-20 minute sensory experience is a first of its kind in Canada. As the name describes, guests will need to venture with no sight, and only relying on their other senses to navigate as unknown evil surrounds you in the darkness. Guests also have the option of being touched and pulled further into the shadows.
Beyond that, there is a place to kick back and relax between the haunted experiences. Attendees can enjoy fall sips and bites courtesy of Maan Farms Beltzer and Blood Bar.
The bar features the farm’s newest alcohol beverage, the Beltzer, which is made up of their berry wine seltzer and their award-winning fruit wine served in a blood bag. Non-alcoholic beverages include pumpkin spice lattes, salted caramel apple lattes and apple cider slushies.
Autumnal bites include their signature double pumpkin spice cream, freshly-popped kettle corn, pumpkin pie and Mama Maan’s tasty samosas and butter chicken bowls.
