Keep calm and do goat yoga. Looking for an idyllic way to kick off Summer while also honouring International Yoga Day? Maan Farms has just the thing for you and they’re calling it the ‘World’s Largest Goat Yoga’ class.
It combines three major themes in one event. Enjoy a culmination of the Strawberry Full Moon, Summer Solstice and of course, International Yoga Day.
Maan Farms is hosting the large-scale event that starts off with goat yoga in their farm fields under the summer sky, followed by strawberry picking. It’s a winning combination, with the intention of creating the largest goat yoga event that’s ever been done.
The Strawberry Full Moon was once used as a signal for the beginning of strawberry harvest by an ancient tribe. “This event combines wellness and agriculture as our guests will be led through a goat yoga class, focused on ground and harnessing the energy of the full moon, complemented by a walk to the strawberry fields,” says Gurleen Maan, Operations Manager.
“As a health and wellness practitioner, I feel honoured to be combining agriculture and wellness in this offering on my farm. It’s a beautiful and refreshing way to cultivate joy, connect with nature, and practice mindfulness.”
After a day filled with yoga, playing with goats and picking strawberries—stick around and enjoy the delicious food and wine offerings available on-site.
For those who want to partake in the event, you’re asked to wear comfortable clothing that is red or white.
