Burnaby’s new exhibit at Deer Lake Gallery, Luminescence IV, will blow you away.

The city will come alive for the opening of this exhibition on Saturday, March 16th, 2019.

Mind bending optical illusions don’t tell the full story of this exhibit. Luminescence IV has as many as 30 works that utilize 2 and 3 dimensional professional designs, taking visitors on an illuminating, experiential journey.

This is a family-friendly event and everyone is welcome to experience artworks by 20+ notable artists from varying disciplines.

One of the featured artists is local Burnaby icon Ron Simmer, who will be featuring Berzerkatroid Dragon.

The dragon is approximately 16 ft. long, 9 ft. high and about 7 ft. wide, and weighs approximately 450 lbs. Guests will even see flames burst from the mouth of the dragon that’ll reach about 3 ft. high.

Individuals have the option to purchase an all-access pass for $25 (+$2.01 fee) and it includes:

  • 7:00 p.m. priority access (doors open for the general public at 8:00 p.m.)
  • Exclusive Acrofire performance at 7:45 p.m.
  • Private meet and greet with the artists between 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Front of the line access to the event
  • One drink ticket per pass

This exhibition will stay open until Saturday, April 6th at 7:00 p.m.
