Whether you believe it or not, the holidays are just around the corner, so why not get into the spirit with Coquitlam’s Lights at Lafarge?
This annual event is the city’s largest free outdoor light display. Check out the intricate designs, like the garden made of lights, which wraps around the 1.2 km lake.
Along the way, you’ll be sure to see some fantastic entertainment or friendly creatures pop up to say hi.
It all starts November 30, but it won’t be going anywhere until January 20. Opening night, however, will be hosting a free pre-lighting event.
There will also be food vendors throughout the evening, with more details released on that mid-November. Additionally, there is a holiday market to get unique gifts for friends and family, as well as an opportunity to meet Santa himself.
This event is family-friendly, but be aware that some parts of the pathway are unpaved.
“You are outside for quite a while. So bundle up, bring some hot chocolate, and be dazzled by the beautiful lights,” states the Lights at Lafarge page.
