Ladner May Days 2019

Ladner May Days

One of Ladner’s longest running traditions is gearing up to return even bigger this year. Ladner May Days returns to Memorial Park from Friday, May 24th – Sunday, May 26th, 2019.

The fair will once again feature live bands, carnival rides, a colourful parade and much more for the entire family to take part in.

Established in 1896, 2019 will mark the festival’s 123rd anniversary.

The fun begins on Friday with discounted midway rides for kids. Moreover, the men’s fastball tournament will take place at the ball diamond.

On Saturday, the craft fair, pony rides, musical acts, and broad range of food and picnic tables add to the midway rides and fastball tournament.

The Sunday activities kick-off with a pancake breakfast followed at noon by the May Days Parade featuring the May Queen float. Come watch as members of the local community stroll through the Ladner Village. You’ll get to see local businesses, entertainers, school groups, dance teams, and more!

The parade culminates at the stage in Memorial Park where the traditional May Pole Dance and May Queen Crowning Ceremony take place.
