This Saturday, May 24, the Jericho Sailing Centre is throwing open its doors for a free, all-ages open house to celebrate 50 years of getting Vancouverites out on the water. Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or just curious about ocean sports, this is your chance to dive into the city’s vibrant waterfront community.
From 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, explore the wide range of naturally powered ocean recreation available at Jericho. Try your hand at kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, surf skiing, outrigger canoeing, windsurfing, wing surfing, foiling, and sailing dinghies. No experience? No problem. Partner schools and clubs will be on-site offering demos, informational displays, and sign-up opportunities for all skill levels.
